In Ukraine, they want to build 400 elevators with a capacity of 5 million tons of grain.

The plans for the construction of grain storage facilities and logistics hubs in Ukraine are impressive in their scale. According to the idea, it is planned to build over 400 grain storage facilities with a total capacity of more than 5 million tons, as well as the creation of special logistics centers. This project envisions the construction of 409 elevators for small farmers and communities, 24 regional biocluster facilities, and three dry ports.
“In fact, this is such a large project that involves the construction of 409 elevators for small farmers and communities, 24 regional bioclusters where this grain will be collected and processed into biofuel, feed, and many other things, and three dry ports,” said Vitaliy Skotsyk, co-founder of the AgHoldCo project, in a comment to Latifundist.com.
In the first stage of construction, it is planned to build 154 elevators in the Right Bank of Ukraine. According to Vitaliy Skotsyk, these elevators will be leased to farmers for 22 years through municipal enterprises.
Cooperation and infrastructure development
The Lviv Regional State Administration, the regional council, the Belz City Council, and AgHoldCo have already signed a memorandum to start cooperation. In Lviv region, it is planned to build an elevator with a capacity of 30 thousand tons of grain, as well as a dry port. The project will be financed by AgHoldCo, Inc with the support of the investment fund UAF Partners.
The volume of grain in Ukraine is constantly increasing, and such infrastructural changes can significantly ease the work of farmers and communities, contributing to the development of the country's agriculture.
The plans for building grain storage facilities and logistics hubs in Ukraine are an important step in the development of the country's agriculture. These infrastructural changes will promote increased yields and enhance the competitiveness of Ukrainian farmers in the international market.
