Ukrainian men may be allowed to leave the country: what Europe offers.

The European Union is ready to provide assistance to Ukrainian men who wish to return to their families abroad.
According to the inPoland portal, some European countries are developing special programs for the reunification of Ukrainian families separated by the war. These initiatives will allow men who are legally unable to leave Ukraine due to restrictions to meet their families abroad legally.
However, economists warn that the implementation of such programs could lead to an increased labor crisis in Ukraine's construction, agricultural, industrial, and logistics sectors.
“The loss of skilled workers may complicate economic recovery and the implementation of infrastructure projects.”
On the other hand, family reunification will help improve the emotional well-being of people. When families live together, they can more easily overcome difficulties and support each other, which is especially important for psychological adaptation and recovery after traumatic events.
Moreover, the Ukrainian government is working on a comprehensive approach to the country's economic development, including:
- retaining the workforce in the country, including through tax incentives
- supporting small businesses
- creating new jobs and reintegration programs for the return of those lost due to the war.
It should be noted that changes have occurred in Ukraine regarding the rules for leaving the country.
