Unknown opened fire near university in the USA, there are victims.


An unknown person opened fire near a university in the USA, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to several others. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified, and the police are conducting an investigation to determine the shooter's motives and identity. This is reported by the American newspaper The Hill.
According to law enforcement officers, the incident occurred at the intersection of Jefferson Street and 27th Avenue N. at about 5:00 PM local Time (midnight on October 13th in Kyiv). After that, the university reported a shooting near the campus.
Nashville police reported that 10 people with gunshot wounds were taken to local hospitals. Among them, one person died – a 24-year-old man. There is currently no precise information about who opened fire, but the police noted that "at least one of the victims may be involved in the incident".
The scene is under protection, and all the wounded are in district hospitals. The incident occurred during a reunion event at this university.
American media also remind us that similar instances of violence occurred a year ago in other universities, namely Morgan State University and Bowie State University, also during reunion celebrations.
Recall, it was previously reported that in the center of Kyiv, an enraged driver who violated the rules attacked a female inspector.
By the way, on the night of August 27th, an unknown person opened fire at the guard post of the Lutsk Military Recruitment Center.
