Trump: We will end wars that we did not enter.

Donald Trump's first speech as President of the United States was dedicated to promises of radical changes in the country's domestic and foreign policy. He noted that the measure of success would not only be the battles won but also the wars ended, and most importantly - wars that the USA does not enter. Trump also promised to act as a 'peacekeeper'.
The main focus was on criticizing the previous administration and describing his own vision for the country's future. He stated that 'the decline of America is over' and will no longer allow 'being used'.
Trump also made a controversial statement regarding China and the Panama Canal. He promised to 'take back control' of the canal, while in reality, it is controlled by Panama.
In his speech, Trump criticized spending on 'defending foreign borders' and hinted at assistance to Ukraine, while stating that the USA refuses to defend its own borders.
The newly elected president also announced a number of domestic political initiatives, including a state of emergency at the southern border, deploying troops to combat illegal immigration, and abolishing 'government censorship'.
