How to Transfer Benefits for Utility Payments in Case of the Disappearance of a Combatant?
The press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine has explained the procedure for transferring utility payment benefits in cases where a military member entitled to benefits is missing in action during the war in Ukraine. According to the announcement, if the beneficiary is recognized as missing in action, there is an option for re-registering payments to a family member according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 13, 2024, No. 1420.
Among the persons entitled to re-register utility payment benefits may be the husband or wife, non-working parents, the official guardian of a minor child, and also adult unmarried children with disabilities or those entitled to maximum benefits. Applications from these individuals for payments must be submitted personally and at the address of joint residence with the beneficiary.

These documents are necessary to receive utility payment benefits in case of the disappearance of a combat participant. In such situations, the re-registration of payments to a family member is possible in case of loss of contact with the deceased warrior.
