Fight against Counterfeiting: Businesses are Invited to Test the e-Excise System.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation invites businesses to test the electronic e-Excise system
The Ministry of Digital Transformation invites representatives of Ukrainian businesses to participate in the beta testing of the electronic e-Excise system. The main goal of this testing is to create a market free from counterfeiting and to analyze the real needs of businesses.
During the first phase of beta testing, the following system functions will be checked: - Registration of enterprises and users in the electronic system. - Management of access for representatives of economic operators. - Ordering unique identifiers for domestic products and entering information about imported goods from the EU. - Integration with state registers. - API for testing integration with the ERP systems of economic operators.
'In just 2024, Ukraine lost UAH 21.9 billion due to illegal trade in tobacco products. e-Excise will help reduce corruption, increase budget revenues, eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy, and facilitate business operations and the lives of Ukrainians, as only quality products will be on store shelves,' the Ministry of Digital Transformation reported.
The e-Excise project is implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the State Tax Service of Ukraine. It is supported by the 'Support for Digital Transformation' project with the assistance of USAID and UK Dev, as well as the Eastern Europe Fund and the Institute for Analytics and Advocacy.
