Ukrainian Armed Forces promise a 'harsh response' to Russian strike in Sumy.

Shelling of the city of Sumy condemned
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces condemned the shelling of the city of Sumy, which occurred on Palm Sunday, and promised the Russians a 'harsh response' to this. The General Staff calls the strike 'another crime against humanity', which indicates Russia's unwillingness to pursue peace and an intention to provoke fear among Ukrainians. The military believes that the Russians are committing such actions without achieving strategic successes on the battlefield.
According to General Staff representatives, Russia will receive from Ukraine 'fury and inevitable retaliation'. Ukrainian forces will act decisively, destroying enemy facilities, weaponry, and equipment regardless of their location.
It is currently known that 34 people have died from the shelling of Sumy, including two children. Another 117 people were injured.
One of the deceased is Olena Kohut, a lecturer at the Sumy College of Arts and Culture named after Bortnyansky, a solo instrumentalist, a concertmaster of the Sumy Regional Philharmonic, and an artist of the Sumy National Academic Theater of Drama and Musical Comedy named after Schepkin.
Rescuers working on clearing the rubble in Sumy after the rocket attack showed a photo of the blue-yellow flag that survived in one of the destroyed buildings.
