Many streets and cars were flooded, and about a thousand people were left without electricity, reports The Sun.
Currently, certain areas of South Wales have been declared in a state of emergency due to the floods.
The floods damaged several towns, including Pontypridd, Ebbw Vale, and Aberdare. More than 100 warnings of possible floods have also been issued. The pedestrian bridge over the River Taff, which had already been restored after damage caused by storm 'Dennis' in 2020, was completely washed away by the powerful storm 'Bert'.
