Washington they do not hear: Zelensky criticized the world’s response to the Russian escalation.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced a new prisoner exchange during which injured Ukrainian soldiers were released, including those who sustained serious injuries. According to the head of state, all released individuals require serious medical treatment.
Addressing global partners, Zelensky emphasized the ongoing Russian escalation, noting that Russia continues to escalate shelling of Ukrainian cities and villages. The president remarked that Putin does not receive an adequate response from the international community, particularly the United States.
Call to international partners
In particular, the head of state supported new sanctions from the European Commission against Russia, aimed at energy resources and banks. Zelensky called on partners to set a price cap on Russian oil at $30 per barrel, emphasizing that compromises only complicate the peaceful settlement of the conflict.
The president noted that Russia continues to sell oil and circumvent financial barriers, considering it important to maximize the limitation of its tanker fleet and extraction capabilities.
Zelensky also spoke about Russia's use of North Korean-made ballistic missiles and the spread of Russian-Iranian drones to North Korea, warning of the increasing threat arising from the continuation of the war.
Zelensky urged international partners to act together in response to Russian aggression and to jointly make efforts to resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
