Power suddenly went out in Spain, France, and Portugal – Euronews.

Mass power outages occurred in Portugal, Spain, and some areas of France. This information was reported by the Euronews television channel. According to media reports, there are reports of failures in residential buildings and workplaces. The mass outage took place in many large cities, including Madrid and Lisbon. The cause of this has not yet been established, but speculation points to problems in the European power grid.
In connection with this, national deputy Serhiy Nagornyak reminded about the possible electricity deficit in Ukraine. He explained that some power units will be under repair this summer, which will lead to a decrease in generation. However, work will be supported by solar power plants, which will operate during the day. However, there may be problems with supply in the evening. This is why the deputy urged to increase electricity imports to avoid shortages.
The government company 'Ukrenergo' also called on citizens to reduce electricity consumption to prevent a possible deficit.
