Ukrainian para judokas won three medals at the World Cup for athletes with visual impairments.


Ukrainian judokas won all the awards at the World Cup for visually impaired athletes in Tbilisi
Twenty countries participated in the competition.
Our winners:
- Anastasia Harnyk became the gold medalist (class J1, weight category over 70 kg).
- Angela Havrysyuk received silver (class J1, weight category up to 60 kg).
- David Khorava won the bronze medal (class J2, weight category up to 70 kg).
The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine congratulated the athletes and their coaches Mykhailo Romankevych and Ivan Ivanytskyi on their successes.
Oleksandr Kosinov, coach of the Ukrainian men's judo team, spoke about the joy of Anton Savitsky's victory at the second Grand Slam of the season in Tbilisi.
Savitsky won in the under 100 kg category and earned his first gold medal at the Grand Slam level. He triumphed in all five matches he participated in.
Kosinov noted that they were counting on Savitsky's medal at this competition after his bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Linz.
Savitsky defeated several strong opponents in Tbilisi, including Canadian Kyle Reyes, the silver medalist of the 2022 World Championship.
