Ukrainians prepare for winter: analysts revealed current prices for heaters and thermal underwear.


The cost of heating devices for Ukrainians has increased
According to OLX Ukraine data, the cost of heating devices for homes has changed significantly over the past year. The prices for new infrared heaters have increased by 33% and now average 2,325 hryvnias. Used UFO heaters have risen by 8.5% compared to last year and cost 1,899 hryvnias.
Convector heaters, which are known for their quiet operation and compactness, can be purchased new for 1,900 hryvnias, while used ones cost 1,400 hryvnias. Prices for new models have increased by 5.5%, while the cost of used ones has remained unchanged.
Oil radiators have decreased in price by 15% and now cost an average of 2,300 hryvnias for new models. The price of used ones has remained at 1,000 hryvnias.
The most affordable option remains fan heaters. Despite high energy consumption, new models can be purchased for 645 hryvnias (an increase of 17%), while used ones cost 465 hryvnias (a decrease of 7%).
Prices for thermal underwear have practically not changed. A new women's set costs 659 hryvnias, while a used one is 383 hryvnias. Men's sets are available for 600 and 369 hryvnias respectively.
The most popular among Ukrainians are fan heaters and convectors, infrared heaters come in second, while oil radiators are the least in demand.
