Ukrainians will receive up to 700 hryvnias for utility bills: who can expect new assistance.


The Department of Social Policy of Dnipro City Council explained who may receive new payments for utility services.
In addition to subsidies and benefits for utility payments, there are other types of support that not everyone knows about. Socially vulnerable citizens can receive municipal assistance for paying utility bills.
In Dnipro, certain privileged categories of residents have the right to receive municipal support for housing and utility services payments.
This applies to:
- children with disabilities;
- persons with disabilities of the first group (with visual impairments, mental disorders, musculoskeletal disorders, or childhood disabilities);
- persons with disabilities of the second group from childhood.
The amount of monthly municipal assistance depends on the season: during the warm period, 500 hryvnias is paid, and during the cold period - 700 hryvnias for each person with a disability in the family.
To receive such municipal support for utility payments, residents of Dnipro need to contact the Department of Social Protection of the City Council and submit the necessary documents.
These include:
- application;
- copy of passport or birth certificate of the child with disabilities (or ID card with a certificate of residence registration);
- certificate of family composition;
- medical certificate or extract from the decision of the expert team;
- details for the payment of housing and utility services.
Ukrainians were also informed about future pensions in 2025.
