Water supply will be stopped in Sumy: authorities addressed local residents.

On September 17, a massive rocket attack occurred in Sumy region, leading to water supply issues in the city. This was reported by the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar.
According to the information, the water utility will stop supplying water from 21:00, so residents are asked to make reserves by this Time.
«Due to the complex situation in the energy sector, water pumping stations will cease supplying water to residents’ homes from 21:00 and will be filling reservoirs», the statement said.
On the night of September 17, Sumy was hit by a massive aerial strike using enemy drones. This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration. As a result, the city’s power and water supply were affected. Currently, only a few traffic lights are working, and there is no electricity or communication. Water is also being supplied at reduced pressure. Due to the lack of electricity, trolleybuses are not running today. Critical infrastructure facilities, such as water utilities and hospitals, are connected to backup power systems.
