India and Pakistan agree on a ceasefire
On May 10, a complete and immediate ceasefire was established between India and Pakistan. This decision was made at 5:00 PM local Time (2:30 PM Kyiv time). US President Donald Trump stated that both countries reached this decision after 'prolonged negotiations' mediated by the American side.

In response, Pakistan announced the launch of a military operation called 'Bunyan al-Marsoos', which translates to 'Unyielding Wall' from Arabic - this operation was launched in response to India's provocations.
Explosions were heard in the cities of Amritsar and Jammu in India. Pakistani military reported the destruction of an Indian BrahMos cruise missile depot in Beas, as well as strikes on the Pathankot airport and the Udhampur airbase, where a plume of smoke rose after the explosion.
