A terrible aviation disaster occurred in Germany when a sports plane crashed into the terrace of a residential building, losing control during flight. This tragic incident took place near the settlement of Korschenbroich. As a result of the crash, two people died, including a 71-year-old female pilot. A fire broke out after the collision with the house.
The pilot, who was making a flight from Thuringia to Mönchengladbach, managed to send an emergency signal before the crash.
Initially, the identity of the second deceased was not established. It later turned out that it was an 84-year-old man who lived in the house into which the plane crashed. The causes of the accident are currently unknown, and an investigation is ongoing.
