The MFA assessed whether Kuleba's trip to China brought the meeting between Zelensky and Xi Jinping closer.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is actively working on organizing a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Chinese leader Xi Jinping. As reported by "Interfax-Ukraine", this was stated by MFA spokesperson Georgiy Tykhyi during a briefing.
Tykhyi noted that the recent visit of MFA Head Dmytro Kuleba to China significantly increased the chances of such a meeting taking place. However, specific details about the date and location of the meeting are not yet known.
He also emphasized that Ukrainian-Chinese dialogue is progressing rapidly, especially this year. It is expected that cooperation between the two countries will continue at other levels as well.
Regarding a possible visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Ukraine, the MFA representative noted that the ministry is constantly working on various international contacts, including meetings and visits, so this possibility is not excluded.
