A man who set himself on fire in the building of the Poltava Regional State Administration died in the hospital.


On September 30, a man who doused himself with gasoline and set himself on fire in the premises of the Poltava Regional State Administration on September 27 died in the hospital. This was reported by Vasyl Zub, a spokesperson for the Poltava District Police Department, reports «Suspilne».
According to law enforcement, the self-immolator was a 71-year-old man. It is noted that he was a resident of another region.
Police are considering adding the information to the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under part 1 of article 115 «Premeditated Murder».
Recall that on September 27 during the day, a 71-year-old man came to the building of the Poltava Regional State Administration, where he set himself on fire.
Earlier it was reported that on September 26 in the capital, patrol police saved a woman from suicide. It is noted that yesterday the police received a report that a woman was trying to commit suicide in the Desnianskyi district of the capital. Upon arrival at the scene, the patrol officers found a woman who planned to end her life: she had an injured hand.
