In the Czech Republic, it was reported how many Ukrainian refugees never applied for humanitarian aid.
The majority of Ukrainians who have found refuge in the Czech Republic are successfully integrating into the local society. This is evidenced by the survey data conducted by the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, according to an article on the "Hvylya" portal.
According to the results of the study, more than two-thirds of Ukrainians in the Czech Republic work or engage in entrepreneurial activities, with 86% of them having full-Time employment. This indicates a significant contribution of Ukrainian refugees to the Czech economy.
The study also showed that more than half of the Ukrainian refugees can communicate in Czech in everyday situations. In addition, about 75% of Ukrainians have sought medical services in the Czech Republic at least once.
Ukrainian refugees mainly reside in the largest cities of the Czech Republic, particularly in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, and other localities.
46% of Ukrainian refugees have higher education, and almost two-thirds of them plan to stay in the Czech Republic after the end of the temporary protection period.
The data of this survey is based on responses from 13,835 Ukrainian refugees aged 15 and older, conducted at the request of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic.
