Director Anna Buryachkova will make a film based on the novel "Tigrywoly" by Ivan Bagryany. This was reported by Vogue.ua.
The project of the future film will be presented at the film festival in Cottbus, Germany, in November.
The co-screenwriter of the film will be Marina Stepanska, a famous Ukrainian director and screenwriter, who worked on the script of Buryachkova's debut feature film "Forever-Forever".
The project will be produced by famous film producers Natalia Libet and Olga Beskhmelnitsyna.
"Tigrywoly" is a novel by Ukrainian writer and political figure Ivan Bagryany, which was published in 1944.
Its basis was autobiographical events, in particular, the author's exile to the Far East and escape from the Gulag.
