Switzerland has provided Ukraine with a winter aid package for energy recovery.

Switzerland is granting Ukraine over 45 million Swiss francs (approximately 48 million euros) for the restoration of energy infrastructure damaged by Russian attacks. This aid aims to help the Ukrainian population address issues with electricity and heating supply that have arisen due to an increase in attacks from Russia. Switzerland has previously provided a similar amount to assist Ukraine during the winter.
This money will be used for the restoration of energy infrastructure, the repair of damaged houses, and to meet urgent humanitarian needs. Switzerland justifies its aid with its experience in providing assistance to Ukraine. This country has previously allocated millions of Swiss francs to support Ukraine during Russian aggression and war.
