High level of trust in Zelensky and Zaluzhny - survey result

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, now Ukraine's ambassador to the United Kingdom, Valeriy Zaluzhny, remain the leaders of public trust. According to the director of the Sociological group 'Rating' Oleksiy Antipovych, these political figures consistently top the trust ratings, and a hypothetical political force led by Zaluzhny could become a serious competitor to the current government.

It is noted that trust in President Volodymyr Zelensky significantly increased with the beginning of the war in the country, reaching around 90%. These figures fluctuated depending on events at the front and in the information space, but now the level of trust in him consistently remains at around 70%.

'Zelensky is trusted not only because of positive circumstances but also due to negative aspects such as corruption scandals, incorrect personnel decisions, and the worsening economic situation in the state,' explained Antipovych.

As for Valeriy Zaluzhny, he is perceived by Ukrainians as a symbol of dignity and protection, as a responsible commander who cared for his subordinates. Even after being relieved of his position, the level of support for him remains high, underscoring the importance of his image for Ukrainians.

The latest survey showed that trust in President Zelensky has increased to 74%, and his trust rating improved from +41% to +52% compared to last month. These data confirm the high level of public trust in both political leaders.
