Fuel Market: Sales of Gasoline and Diesel Declined at Ukrainian Gas Stations.


In November 2024, the total value of fuel sales at gas stations decreased by 4.2% to 32.0 billion UAH. This is lower than in October, according to data from the State Tax Service of Ukraine, analyzed by NaftoMarket.
Compared to November of last year, retail sales decreased by 6.6%. From January to November 2024, nearly 7.3 billion liters of fuel were sold.
According to the SFSU, the largest decline in sales occurred in Chernihiv region (-10.2%), while the largest growth was recorded in Kyiv (+3.8%).
Over the year, the largest decline occurred in Donetsk region (-40.3%). The next highest declines were in Chernivtsi (-17.4%) and Kherson (-16.0%) regions. Only in Volyn (+12.7%) and Kyiv (+0.1%) regions and in the city of Kyiv (+0.8%), there was growth in November 2024 compared to November of last year.
Overall, the number of licenses for retail fuel sales in Ukraine increased by 43 units, reaching 6754. The largest decline occurred in Kharkiv (-33 units), while the largest increase was in Kyiv (+38 units), Vinnytsia (+24 units), and Odesa (+20 units).
Kyiv continues to lead in the average amount of fuel sold per gas station per day. Here, 7.7 thousand liters of fuel are sold daily at one gas station, which is 0.2 thousand liters more than a month ago. The least fuel is sold in Kherson (1.0 thousand liters per day) and Donetsk (1.8 thousand liters per day).
