On the night of June 8, Russian terrorists launched attacks on Ukraine using 49 Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles and imitation drones. This was reported by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, citing Glavkom.

The drone attack was carried out from various directions, including Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk.

The enemies also used the 'Onyx' anti-ship missile, as well as two guided aviation missiles Kh-59/69. Serious damage was inflicted on Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces utilized aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups to repel enemy attacks.

During this period, the enemy launched 3 missile strikes, 92 air bombings, fired 6035 shells, of which 89 were from multiple rocket systems, and used 3066 kamikaze drones.
