Air Forces warned about a new danger of Shahed drones.


Russian Shahed drones, which continue to attack Ukrainian cities, use shrapnel warheads designed to cause significant damage to both military targets and civilian populations. This was reported by the head of the communication department of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat.
The military expert noted that enemy drones can carry various types of warheads - from thermobaric to fragmentation-fuze with shrapnel. The peculiarity of such weapons is that they create a large damage zone, scattering deadly elements over a significant area. Ignat emphasized the extraordinary danger to civilians: 'During such attacks, all services urge citizens not to be near windows or outside, as the spread of those elements poses a deadly threat to people's lives.'
