Poland raised its military aviation due to the attack on Ukraine.


This morning, Poland decided to take its military aviation into the air in response to Russia's missile strikes on our country. This information was circulated by representatives of the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces via the social network X.
«Due to the intense assaults of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, Polish planes and their allies participated in aviation actions in the Polish airspace since morning», – the statement said.
Russia unexpectedly launched an attack on Ukraine using drones and missiles. Kyiv felt the consequences of these strikes, with damages in the capital. A building in the Darnytskyi district was affected by the Russian attack. Emergency services are currently at the scene to assess the damages.
Massive attacks on Rivne and Sumy regions
The Rivne region has suffered from massive attacks by Russia. Enemy forces used kamikaze drones 'Shahed', as well as cruise missiles and possibly hypersonic 'Kinzhal' missiles. Sumy region also faced aggression. The mayor of Konotop, Artem Semenikhin, reported on his channel that the sky in the region is red with numerous targets.
