Winnipeg Jets Defeated St. Louis Blues in Hockey Playoffs
In the first round of the National Hockey League playoffs, the 'Winnipeg Jets' faced off against the 'St. Louis Blues' and defeated them by a score of 5:3. The last minute of the game was marked by a massive brawl between players from both teams.
'Winnipeg' finished in first place in the Western Conference during the regular season with 116 points and received the President's Cup. 'St. Louis' finished in eighth place with 96 points.
All playoff participants have also been determined. The last place in the Eastern Conference was taken by 'Montreal', which defeated 'Carolina' 4:2. Starting from the next pair of matches, the matchups will be: 'Washington Capitals' - 'Montreal Canadiens', 'Toronto Maple Leafs' - 'Ottawa Senators', 'Tampa Bay Lightning' - 'Florida Panthers', 'Carolina Hurricanes' - 'New Jersey Devils'.
In the Western Conference, the matches will start as follows: 'Winnipeg Jets' - 'St. Louis Blues', 'Dallas Stars' - 'Colorado Avalanche', 'Vegas Golden Knights' - 'Minnesota Wild', 'Los Angeles Kings' - 'Edmonton Oilers'.
The playoffs will last until June. 'Florida Panthers' are the current holders of the Stanley Cup, while 'Winnipeg Jets' became the champions of the regular season.
