At the age of 66, former Dynamo football player and coach of the children's and youth school of Dynamo, Serhiy Zhuravlyov, has died, reports Glavkom.
Serhiy Zhuravlyov was an important player in Valeriy Lobanovskyi's championship team in the early 1980s. He was one of the most talented defenders of his generation. With his contribution, the team won two championships and the USSR Cup. He is particularly remembered by fans as part of the youth national team that became the European champion in 1980.

May the earth be soft upon him, and may the memory of him remain in the hearts of those who knew, valued, and loved him. A good memory of Serhiy Zhuravlyov will forever stay with us.
