Internally displaced persons can receive a subsidy for housing rental

Internally displaced persons who rent housing can now apply for a subsidy for its rental by contacting the Pension Fund of Ukraine along with the landlord. Documents can be submitted both offline at the service centers of the Pension Fund or CNAPs, and online – through the PFU's electronic services web portal.

Conditions for receiving the subsidy

If the landlord is a legal entity, the tenant applies for the subsidy independently. According to paragraph 5 of the Regulations, to receive a subsidy for housing rental, a signed lease agreement and an application must be provided. If necessary, the package of documents may include copies of confirmation of the authority of the legal representative or authorized person, as well as court decisions or other documents defining the tenant's family or housing status.

Details for receiving the subsidy

Particular attention is paid to detailing information: the contract and application must necessarily specify all members of the tenant's household. The Pension Fund will automatically receive other information, including about the property status, through electronic interaction with state registries.

Online submission of documents and additional information

Additional information regarding online submission is available on the official website of the Pension Fund. Let us remind you that there are benefits for utility services, for example, for family members of the military.

Analysis: In cases where internally displaced persons rent housing, the possibility of receiving a subsidy for its rental provides them with additional support in ensuring housing conditions. This simplifies the process of receiving necessary state assistance and encourages landlords to rent their properties, contributing to the improvement of housing conditions for internally displaced persons.
