Odesites collected a medal collection at the Ukrainian championships in synchronized swimming.


Young athletes from Odessa proved to be extremely successful at the Ukrainian championships in synchronized swimming among juniors and the Ukrainian championships among boys and girls. This was reported by the press service of the Odessa City Council.
Odessa athlete Vladyslava Kocherba achieved an unattainable first place in technical solo at the juniors' championship. In addition, the Odessa team, which included Sofia Sarukhanyan and Taisia Pochepinska, took third place in duets.
In the competitions among boys and girls in technical solo, Sofia Sarukhanyan won gold. Together with Yelyzaveta Siedova, she also took first place in duets. The team from Odessa also demonstrated excellent results in group programs. The athletes were coached by trainers Olga Nikolaychuk (SDYUSSHOR 'Chornomorets') and Svitlana Pershina (Odessa Regional KDYUSSH).

The competitions took place in Kyiv from November 15 to 18. A total of 65 athletes from Kyiv, Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk regions participated.
Let's recall that Vinnytsia athlete Natalia Hnydyuk won silver at the World Bodybuilding Cup in the 'Bikini Masters' category (35 - 44 years, up to 164 cm). Financial support was provided by the city's sports committee and the administration of the 'Nokaut' sports club, where she is a coach.
