Light snow and icy conditions: weather forecast for January 4.


Weather forecast in Ukraine: cloudy with clearings and light snowfall
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on Saturday, January 4, the weather in Ukraine will be cloudy with clearings. Light snowfall is expected across the country.
Weather specialists report that the snowfalls will be minor, with wet snow and rain in the east and southeast of the country at night. In addition, icy conditions are possible on the roads throughout the country, except for southern regions.
Wind speed will primarily be from the west, at 7-12 m/s, gusting to 15-18 m/s in the western, northern, and central regions. These weather conditions may complicate the operations of energy, construction, and utility companies, as well as affect traffic movement.
Air temperature at night will range from -1 to -6 degrees Celsius, while during the day it is expected to be between -3 and +2 degrees. In the southern part of the country and in Luhansk, air temperature both at night and during the day will range from 0 to +5 degrees, while in Crimea it is expected to reach up to +8 degrees Celsius.
There will also be snow in the Carpathians, with temperatures during the day ranging from -7 to -12 degrees Celsius.
