Today the enemy carried out 83 air strikes, used 1159 kamikaze drones, and conducted 4231 shelling of settlements and our forces positions. In addition, they dropped 170 guided bombs.

As of 22:00 on April 22, there have been 118 combat clashes. The defense forces are actively resisting the Russian invaders, focused on disrupting their offensive plans and depleting their combat potential. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Latest news from the front

The situation is most tense in the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Kursk directions. Today in the Pokrovsk direction, our military eliminated 118 occupiers and wounded 95. Three vehicles, nine motorcycles, two drone control points, one lightly armored tractor, 12 drones of various types, and two satellite communication terminals were destroyed. Additionally, two vehicles, one tank, and three artillery systems of the occupiers were damaged.

In the Kharkiv direction. The enemy attempted to break through the defensive lines of our defenders near the settlement of Vovchansk four times. At the same Time, the enemy carried out an air strike on the area of the settlement of Lyptsi.

In the Kupyansk direction. Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks in the areas of Zahryzove and Nova Kruhlyakivka. Another combat clash is ongoing.

In the Lyman direction. Our military stopped seven attacks in the areas of the settlements of Nadiya, Novomyhailivka, and in the directions of Olhivka, Hlushchenkove, and Novoserhiyivka. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction. The enemy carried out three offensive actions in the areas of Hryhorivka and Verkhnokamianske.

In the Kramatorsk direction. Our defenders stopped three attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Stupochky, Bilya Hory, and Maiske.

In the Toretsky direction. The occupiers stormed the positions of our defenders 13 times today in the areas of Dachne, Druzhba, Toretsk, and in the direction of Shcherbinyvka. The defense forces are steadfastly holding back the pressure and repelled all attacks.

In the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy carried out 42 offensive actions. The highest activity of Russian occupiers was observed in the areas of Preobrazhenka, Novoukrainka, Shevchenko, Vodyane Druhe, Malynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiivka, Troitske, Andriivka. There was also noted activity in the directions of the settlements of Novopavlivka, Romaniivka, Stara Mykolaivka, Myroliubivka, Novomykolaivka. Four combat clashes continue. In addition, the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Pokrovsk, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Sukhy Yar, Zorya, Vodyane, Hrodivka, Krasnyi Yar, Bilyakivka, Oleksiyivka, and Novopavlivka.

In the Novopavlivka direction. Ukrainians repelled 15 attacks by the occupiers near Kostiantynivka, Pryvilne, Novosilky, and in the direction of Oleksiyivka and Odradne. In addition, the enemy carried out an air strike on the settlement of Bahatyr.

In the Kursk direction. Today, there were 21 combat clashes. The enemy executed 17 air strikes, dropping 46 guided bombs on settlements and positions of our defense forces. Additionally, there were 290 artillery shelling incidents, of which 5 were from multiple launch rocket systems.
