Users complained about disruptions in 'Kyivstar'. The company commented.


On the morning of September 19, users of the largest Ukrainian telecommunications operator "Kyivstar" massively complained about a disruption. In particular, they reported connection problems. Such comments users left under the latest post on the official Facebook page of "Kyivstar".
Users from all regions complained about connection problems or even a complete lack of connection.
In response to the comments, the operator claims that it is working on solving the problem. "Specialists of the company are working on eliminating the problem. We apologize to subscribers for temporary difficulties and thank you for your understanding", - the statement reads.
The causes of the operator's disruption are currently unknown.
Updated at 11:52. Later "Kyivstar" confirmed that today, September 19, there was a technical disruption in the operation of some services of the operator's network.
"Kyivstar" specialists localized the problem and promptly began to eliminate the consequences. Work to restore the network's functionality continues", - the company stated.
In the services of voice communication and the Internet in the eastern and northern regions of Ukraine, some difficulties may still arise, but "Kyivstar" promises to eliminate them within 30 minutes.
Recall that on the morning of December 12 there was a large-scale disruption in the mobile operator's "Kyivstar" operation - its cause was a hacker attack on the core of the network.
Responsibility for the attack on the "Kyivstar" network was claimed by Russian hackers from the "Solntsepek" group. As noted, the hacker team penetrated the operator's network and firmly entrenched themselves there. During the attack, the internal network infrastructure of the organization, which provides communication not only for millions of subscribers but also for the Armed Forces, was destroyed.
As reported by the president of "Kyivstar", hackers breached the operator's protection through the account of one of the employees.
Later law enforcement identified the Russian hackers who attacked "Kyivstar".
