New stealth material from China can complicate the detection of equipment

Chinese scientists have developed a new stealth material that can significantly reduce the effectiveness of modern missile defense systems, including the American 'Iron Dome'. This innovative development successfully counteracts infrared and microwave detection, making it promising for use in aviation and missile construction.

Modern battlefield monitoring technologies widely use infrared sensors that register thermal radiation, as well as microwave radars that use reflected signals to detect objects. However, the new material significantly decreases the intensity of this radiation, thereby increasing the degree of undetectability of the equipment.

A group of researchers from Zhejiang University produced a multilayered material that ensures camouflage in various infrared spectrums and in the microwave range. This material operates at high temperatures, making it effective under extreme temperature conditions.

American 'Iron Dome' under threat from new stealth material

Analysts believe that the 'Iron Dome' system heavily relies on infrared sensors to track missile launches. The use of the new material from Chinese scientists could seriously complicate the detection process of equipment and reduce the effectiveness of American missile defense against the latest missile technologies from Beijing.

It should be noted that US President Donald Trump, along with Defense Secretary Pete Gage, plans to create a new missile defense system called 'Iron Dome', which will be an extended version of Israel's 'Iron Dome'.
