Gas crisis in Transnistria: the region refused help from Moldova.

Transnistria refused assistance from Chisinau in gas procurement
Officials in the Transnistria region rejected Chisinau's offer to supply gas from Moldovan companies 'Moldovagaz' and 'Energocom'. They consider that the price of gas from these companies is higher and unstable.
Instead, they propose to continue supplies from Russian 'Gazprom' under a contract that is in effect until 2026. However, 'Gazprom' has already stopped gas supplies to Moldova since December 30.
More and more homes in Transnistria are left without gas supply. Starting January 1, private and multi-apartment buildings are being cut off from gas en masse, and the situation is worsening every day.
Moldovan Government: 'Gazprom' is blackmailing us and spreading misinformation
According to the spokesperson for the Moldovan government, Daniel Vode, the situation with energy supply on the right bank of the country is stable. Moldova receives energy and gas from Romania, Ukraine, and the European market. Vode stated that Moldovan consumers regularly pay for these services and have no debts.
The government also accused 'Gazprom' of blackmail and spreading misinformation. According to them, Russia disseminates false information and blames its subsidiary 'Tiraspoltransgaz' for debts to 'Gazprom', which have already been refuted by an international audit.
Russia refused to supply gas to Transnistria through a bypass route
The Moldovan government also reported that Russia refused to supply gas to Transnistria via a bypass route. At the same Time, the 'president' of Transnistria demands that Moldova pay the debts of 'Tiraspoltransgaz' to 'Gazprom'.
