The spokesperson of the General Staff named a new problem caused by the involvement of soldiers from North Korea in the war.

Ukrainian forces have shared their experience with North Korea
The North Korean military may use their experience gained from fighting against Ukraine to wage war against South Korea. This was stated by Vladyslav Selezniov, the former spokesperson of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He noted that the best Ukrainian troops are fighting in the Kursk region, which is important for Ukraine as it affects Russia's position and ensures security from enemy attacks. With the active involvement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the war, significant losses have been inflicted on Russian and North Korean military personnel over six months.
According to Selezniov, North Korean soldiers are distinguished by their high physical training and quickly adapt to modern combat conditions. He believes that this experience will be used against South Korea, which will face challenges from its friends in Seoul. However, the expert noted that Ukraine does not require the direct involvement of South Korean soldiers but needs supplies of weapons and ammunition.
Reports indicate that Russia is again using North Korean soldiers during the assault on the Kursk region. The Ukrainian 22nd mechanized brigade destroyed a North Korean company commander, allowing for the examination of his equipment. A Chinese radio, grenades, and several types of weapons were discovered.
Analysts predict that by mid-April 2025, North Korean troops located in the Kursk region may suffer significant losses if they continue to lose many of their soldiers in battles.
