Doping scandal: Mudryk passed a lie detector test.

Mikhailo Mudryk, midfielder of 'Chelsea' and the national football team of Ukraine, passed a lie detector test to prove his unintentional use of a banned substance. This was reported by the general director of 'Shakhtar', Serhiy Palkin.
According to Palkin, Mudryk does not understand how the doping issue occurred and does not know how it could have happened. Therefore, his lawyers arranged for a lie detector test which the footballer passed. The results of this test will serve as proof that Mudryk did not intentionally use the banned substance. They are currently awaiting the results of the 'B' sample.
Serhiy Palkin noted that 'Shakhtar' is also interested in the situation, as the payment of bonuses depends on Mudryk’s performance. If the footballer does not play, it could lead to a loss of 30 million euros. He hopes that Mudryk will soon be allowed to return to football.
It should be noted that Mikhailo Mudryk has played 73 matches for 'Chelsea', scored 10 goals, and provided 11 assists. On December 17, it became known that the footballer tested positive for doping - a banned substance, meldonium, was found in his body. He faces a suspension of up to four years for this. Mudryk stated that this was shocking news for him as he has never taken doping. He has now been temporarily suspended from football.
Mudryk believes that the substance found in his body entered there while he was abroad, since this drug is banned in Britain. It should be noted that under FA rules, a player can be temporarily suspended while being given the opportunity to explain the situation.
