World Hockey Championship. The coach of the Romanian national team commented on the upcoming game against Ukraine.

The head coach of the Romanian national hockey team, Dave McQueen, shared his comments ahead of the third round match of the World Hockey Championship Division IA against Ukraine. He noted that Ukrainian players impress with their skills in the friendly matches they played earlier and are strong opponents.
Ukraine? I do not consider it the weakest team [of the division]. I like how they play, how they played against us [in February during the friendlies], those were competitive, "close" matches. In my opinion, they have everything to succeed at this level.
It is recalled that Ukraine lost to Great Britain but defeated Italy. Romania also has one point after two losses. Romania's head coach, Dave McQueen, believes that the tournament is not over yet and that it is currently hard to predict the outcome. He also emphasizes the importance of each match and actively supports his team ahead of the game. The match between Ukraine and Romania will take place on Wednesday, April 30.
Romania is hosting the World Championship in Division IA, but this does not create excessive pressure for the team. On the contrary, the coach believes that it gives them the opportunity to showcase their play and gain support from the fans. He reported that the team is happy to play at home and feel the support of the fans.
Analyzing the material, it can be understood that the head coach of Romania highly values the performance of the Ukrainian national team and hopes for the success of his team in the match against Ukraine. We can assume that interest in hockey in Ukraine is growing if the national team demonstrated skill in friendly games.
