Britain and France failed the idea of a 'temporary ceasefire' for Ukraine.

Ukraine and Russia have not reached an agreement on a ceasefire due to disagreements between Great Britain and France.
British Deputy Defense Minister Luke Pollard stated that London did not agree with the month-long ceasefire plan proposed by French President Emmanuel Macron. He noted that the plan is not recognized in its current form.
The British Deputy Defense Minister also pointed out that various options are being discussed, but Great Britain aims to find a solution that brings lasting peace.
'There is no agreement on what a ceasefire should look like,' said the British Deputy Defense Minister.
According to Macron's proposal, the ceasefire was to be temporary and not relate to ground combat. He also stated that at the next stage, European troops could be deployed in Ukraine.
This initiative was expressed ahead of the European leaders' summit in London, which included British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
It was previously reported that Starmer held talks with Trump after the meeting with Zelensky.
