The Biden Administration Delayed Arms Deliveries to Ukraine in 2024 – Media.

The administration of former President Joe Biden has delayed arms supplies to Ukraine, raising doubts and conflicts. By early December 2024, Ukraine had received only 30% of the promised armored vehicles. Delays were the result of issues in Congress, discussions about the high risk of conflict with Russia, and a shortage of American ammunition. Additionally, a chaotic weapon tracking system contributed to the problem. Ukraine lost most of the territory it had reclaimed from Russia in 2023. Experts see that the issue lies not only in assistance, but the US and EU have not demonstrated a clear strategy. The war requires strategic planning, leadership, and morale, rather than just aid. The Pentagon did not disclose how much weaponry had been supplied but noted that extremely important munitions and anti-armour defense systems had been delivered. Plans for the next year include the supply of greater amounts of armored vehicles.
