The Polish court banned the action of transporters at the border with Ukraine

The mayor of Dorohusk blocked the transporters' rally near the crossing point at the Ukrainian border, citing security reasons. The organizers of the action tried to challenge this decision in the Lublin court, but their appeal was unsuccessful, and the protest remained banned.

The participants of the action expressed dissatisfaction with working conditions and low wages. Polish freight carriers accuse their Ukrainian colleagues of dumping and driving them out of the market. This is happening against the backdrop of a prolonged blockade of the Polish-Ukrainian border that began in the fall of 2023.

Large-scale protests by Polish farmers

Since the beginning of 2024, Polish farmers have actively protested against the import of Ukrainian agricultural products, accusing it of excessive volumes. They even threatened to completely close the border with Ukraine. According to reports, some transporters are already looking for alternative routes, avoiding the crossing point in Yagodyn.
